Travel technology generates information across enquiries, bookings, products and operations. This role focuses on building reliable ways to collect, transform, validate and document that information. You will think about both technical correctness and practical usefulness, working alongside product and operational teams to make data easier to trust and understand.

• Design, develop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows that move data between approved sources and reporting datasets.
• Write readable SQL and Python for extraction, transformation, quality checks and automation.
• Define and monitor validation rules for completeness, duplicates, inconsistent values and changing source schemas.
• Support data modelling and clearly document tables, transformations, dependencies and assumptions.
• Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements while respecting access controls and personal-data safeguards.

• Practical SQL skills and experience with Python or a comparable data-processing language.
• Understanding of relational databases, data pipelines and core data-modelling concepts.
• Awareness of version control, testing, logging and repeatable deployment practices.
• Curiosity about cloud data platforms, orchestration and analytics; familiarity with them is helpful, not assumed.
• Able to communicate trade-offs and explain data-quality findings to non-technical colleagues.
