Day 1
Sigiriya • Dambulla
Pick-up from Colombo at approx. 3:00–4:00 AM and transfer to Sigiriya (170 km / 4–5 hrs). Arrive early morning and begin the Sigiriya Rock Fortress climb to witness sunrise from the summit. Explore ancient frescoes, the mirror wall, and royal gardens. After descent, proceed to Dambulla (30 km / 45 mins). Visit Dambulla Cave Temple and explore its 5 cave shrines filled with Buddha statues and paintings. Optional lunch stop en route. Return transfer to Colombo in the afternoon (160 km / 3.5–4 hrs), arriving by evening.
